The Ringwood Guitar Studio
Our primary teaching studio is located on Heatherdale Rd – a 10 minute walk from Heatherdale Station (one station away from Ringwood Station), just off Maroondah Hwy. It’s a peaceful, quiet place to learn….that is, until students pull out their guitars and start rocking out!
Most courses require some real performance exposure, which involves concerts at our studio, local venues or (for those who have a bed-time after 8pm) at pubs and live music venues around Melbourne. These venues change based on the type of performance and the students performing.
For songwriting and music business students, the studio is fully equipped with a recording and live rig and a selection of microphones, effects, plug-ins and gear required for student recording projects. These facilities are available for hire, but priority is always given to student use.
Travel-wise, if you’re located in Ringwood East, Ringwood North, Croydon, Heathmont, Park Orchards or any of the surrounding suburbs, you’re probably less than 10 minutes drive away. Many of our students live further from the studio too, but if you’re concerned about distance, please get in touch and I’ll be more than happy to run you through some options that won’t involve too much travel on your (or your parent’s) behalf.
